Wisconsin's Pallet Recycling Experts Since 1979
BTL Pallet Corporation is a family-owned pallet recycling and wood waste removal company based in Franklin, Wisconsin. We've been serving manufacturers and industrial businesses across the Midwest since 1979. We supply recycled and repaired pallets, remove scrap wood and pallets, and help operations simplify how they handle wood waste — all from one reliable partner.
Our Story
BTL Pallet Corporation was founded in 1979 by Roger Lehman. The first pallets were built in his home garage with help from his three sons — Brett, Todd, and Lance — and delivered to a clothing manufacturer in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The company grew steadily from those early days. By 1992, BTL had outgrown two previous locations and moved into its current eight-acre, paved facility in Franklin, Wisconsin.
That same year, under the leadership of President Brett Lehman, BTL made a pivotal decision: stop manufacturing new pallets and focus entirely on recycled pallets. It was the right call. Since then, BTL has tripled in size and invested over $1 million in buildings, automation, and transportation equipment.
Today, BTL is Southern Wisconsin's leading used pallet recycling center — and a trusted operational partner for manufacturers across the region.

Our Team
BTL's team of 30-plus employees averages more than five years with the company. Over that time, each person has had a hand in building or repairing upward of 100,000 pallets. That kind of experience doesn't come from a training manual — it comes from showing up every day and doing the work. Our management team alone brings over 50 years of combined experience in the pallet industry. When you work with BTL, you're working with people who know pallets inside and out.

Why Manufacturers Choose BTL
We don't just drop off pallets and leave. We build long-term relationships with the facilities we serve and make it easy to keep operations running without pallet problems getting in the way.
Same-day response capability
We maintain an average inventory of over 25,000 repaired pallets. When you have a pallet supply emergency, we can usually respond the same day.
A fleet built for your operation
Our delivery fleet includes 10 semi-tractors, 140 53-foot van trailers, and a 48-foot flatbed. We have the capacity to serve high-volume operations reliably.
Multi-inspected quality
Our conveyor line automation and quality control process means every recycled pallet is inspected multiple times before it leaves our facility.
Over 47 years of experience
We've been doing this since 1979. We understand how manufacturing operations work and what it takes to be a dependable vendor.
Trailer spotting for removal
If your facility generates over 300 scrap pallets per month, we'll spot a van trailer on-site. When it's full, call us — we'll swap it out and keep your dock clear.
