Industrial Wood Waste Removal — Southeastern Wisconsin

If wood waste is piling up at your facility, BTL can take it. We've been removing semi-load quantities of wood waste from Southeastern Wisconsin manufacturers since 2001. Broken pallets, scrap wood, wood boxes — we haul it out using our fleet of 53-foot semi trailers, and we recycle everything. No dumpsters. No landfill.

What We Remove

We accept high-volume wood waste that most disposal companies won't touch. If it's made of wood, there's a good chance we can take it.

Accepted materials include:

  • Broken and damaged pallets
  • Loose scrap wood
  • Wood boxes and wood crates
  • Mixed dimensional lumber scraps

What We Can't Take

We process everything through our industrial grinding system. To protect the equipment and keep the program running, your material needs to meet a few basic requirements.

Material must be free of:

  • Foam inserts or foam packaging
  • Plastics
  • Metal plates or embedded metal pieces that cannot be bent by hand

Small hardware is fine. Nails, screws, staples, and bolts that bend by hand will be processed and recycled along with the wood. If your material contains foam, plastics, or fixed metal, those items need to be removed before we arrive.

Facility Requirement

You must have a loading dock capable of receiving a 53-foot semi trailer.

How the Program Works

  • Call and qualify

Every job is reviewed individually. Call us at (414) 761-0220 or contact us for a quote. We'll ask a few quick questions to determine if your material and volume are a fit.

  • Schedule a Pickup

Once you're accepted into the program, we coordinate a pickup schedule that works for your facility. Request a Pickup here.

  • We Haul It Out

Our team arrives with a 53-foot semi trailer and loads your wood waste. No dumpster swap. No third-party hauler. BTL handles it directly.

  • Everything gets Recycled

Your wood waste goes to our Franklin facility and is processed through our industrial Rotochopper grinding system. The material is turned into landscape mulch — none of it goes to a landfill.

Why Use BTL Instead of a Dumpster?

Most waste disposal companies haul wood waste straight to the landfill. BTL doesn't.

Here's the practical difference:

One 53-foot BTL trailer can hold what would otherwise fill approximately four standard dumpsters. That means fewer pickups, less coordination, and a cleaner operation — at potentially less cost than managing ongoing dumpster service. And because we grind everything into landscape mulch, your wood waste stays out of the landfill entirely.

Where Your Wood Waste Goes

All material removed under this program is processed at BTL's facility in Franklin, WI. We run it through an industrial Rotochopper grinding system and turn it into colored landscape mulch — sold under our Quality Mulch brand. Nothing is landfilled.

If you want to be able to tell your operations team, your customers, or your leadership that your wood waste is recycled and not dumped, BTL gives you a straightforward way to do that.
